Meet Dr. Watterson

History

Dr. Watterson grew up in Jackson, Michigan watching his dad practice dentistry. This example had an enormous impact on his decision to pursue dentistry. He watched his father serve patients and improve their lives. Dr. Watterson graduated from Western High School in Parma, just outside Jackson. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Taylor University in Indiana, and Spring Arbor University in Michigan. Dr. Watterson received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1998.

He was one of only two in his dental school graduating class to go directly into private practice following graduation from dental school. Dr. Watterson established his practice in Jackson, Michigan, out of a desire to give back to the hometown that had given so much to him. He considers it a blessing to work with a caring, dedicated team, as he follows in his father’s footsteps.
